About Us

At Quovita, we believe there is a better way to do most things!
Care is one of them.

Our founding

Founded in 2016 out of pure frustration with the way we experienced the running of care homes and domiciliary care companies, we thought that single thought that spurs so many of us on to take up the challenge...

We're obsessively passionate about care, with our focus on the people - as it should be.
Look after them! If you can do that well, you've succeeded - and you'll know when you have.

Early growth & funding

With baby steps and a few leaps of faith later, we were well on our way to making a difference.

Within a very short space of time we had reached capacity and realised we're going to need help!

With savings in hand and some money borrowed from family we were on our way...

In 2017, after a glimpse of the demand we were getting for our service, we shifted our focus to "how to scale". Investment seemed like the only way forward.

The Health & Wellbeing Challenge Fund is an impact investment fund established with investment from the Growth Fund and South West Academic Health Science Network (SWAHSN). The Growth Fund is managed by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment, and is funded from the Big Lottery Fund and Big Society Capital.
